EXCLUSIVE: Saban Films has acquired North American and other overseas territory rights to The Old Way, the Western from director Brett Donowho that stars Nicolas Cage. The distributor is targeting a theatrical and VOD release for the pic sometime during the fourth quarter of 2022.

EXCLUSIVE: Epic Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to The Wave, a sci-fi film starring Justin Long and Donald Faison. Gille Klabin is making his feature directing debut on the pic, written by Carl W. Lucas. Epic will begin selling the film next week at the Cannes market.

Anchor Bay Films kicks off the 2013 Sundance Film Festival with the pick-up of The Rambler starring Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend’s Wedding, The Grey). Written and directed by Calvin Lee Reeder, the film is set to premiere on Monday, January 21st (11:59pm) during Park City at Midnight.
